YouTube is the third-most-visited website in the world, trailing only Google and Facebook.  The platform’s popularity and industry-wide push by brands to find creative new ways to engage audiences through video storytelling have prompted a renewed focus for many on enhancing and prioritizing content development for YouTube.

This year, the University of Michigan account underwent a revision in the way it  was organized, as well as how videos were optimized and content conceptualized. With the introduction of several new series developed for YouTube (including a travel-style tour series exploring Ann Arbor, and a revolving student voices vlog) as well as the newest research and news videos and live event streams, the University of Michigan YouTube channel became home to a wealth of amazing videos throughout 2019.
