From a Michigan Football National Championship parade to Spring Commencement at the Big House to stunning campus imagery, 2024 was a year filled with celebrations, achievements and joy for the University of Michigan community and we were thrilled to be there to capture milestone moments. With photography that paused your scrolling, video features that told you about powerful Wolverine stories and trends that brought laughter to our feeds, the U-M social media strategy was designed directly for our audiences.

We created nearly 4,000 unique organic posts leading to 9.6 million engagements — an increase of 1.9 million over 2023 engagements — proving that much of our content resonated with our community. In reflecting on this remarkable year, we compiled this list of the top 10 social media posts from our University of Michigan social media channels.
